Board and Management
The Board of Directors of Cashmere Iron Ltd represents a broad range of highly experienced professionals who are responsible for management, oversight of the business and further exploration in accordance with the Company™s Constitution. This includes management of the corporate assets and allocation of corporate resources to the project.
DIRECTOR PROFILES
Mr. David Hendrie
Managing Director
David Hendrie (57 years) retired from the Army over 19 years ago and has had with extensive experience in the areas of finance, logistic support and organisational support.
Since retiring from service, David has worked in the mining sector within the areas of finance and management with companies involved in mineral exploration.
David is currently overseeing the functional operations of Cashmere and has been involved in the development of the Cashmere Downs Project strategy since the formation of Cashmere.
David is a director and shareholder of Mabrouk Minerals, a significant Shareholder in Cashmere and entity with which Cashmere has commercial arrangements (including the current lease and option to acquire some of the Tenements for the Cashmere Downs Project). David has been appointed to the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
Mr. Graeme Sampson
Non-Executive Independent Director
Graeme Sampson (55 years) has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia with over 30 years of experience in providing accounting, taxation, corporate finance and commercial advice to a diverse range of clients.
Graeme has assisted a number of companies in the mining services and construction industries and has held numerous board positions. Graeme is the principal of Enigma Capital Solutions, a specialist corporate advisory practice based in Perth, which provides corporate advisory services to Cashmere, including in relation to the Offer.
Graeme was appointed a non-executive director of Cashmere during the pre- Offer phase. He will bring with him his knowledge and understanding of Cashmere acquired through involvement in Enigma Capital Solutions and is able to assist Cashmere in consideration of corporate strategy, corporate finance, taxation and accounting.
Graeme has been appointed chair of the audit and risk management committee and is a member of the remuneration and nomination committee.
Dr Shaun Ren
Technical Director
Shaun has more than 30 years of experience in the international mining industry. His experience covers base metals, precious metals and ferrous metals from exploration, feasibility, project development to mining.
Shaun was involved in the exploration and development of the Northparkes mine in NSW, Kanowna Belle mine in WA and the Lanping Zn-Pb mine in China. He has held senior positions at North, Billiton, Placer Dome, AngloGold Ashanti, Citic Pacific Mining and Standard Iron.
Holding a doctoral degree in economic geology from Australian National University, Shaun has acted as a competent person for a range of reports to the Australia Stock Exchange.
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Geological Society of Australia.
Mr John Wilder
Non-Executive Director
Over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, with a strong background in the establishment, development and operation of successful businesses. He is the owner and founder of Westernex, an Australian mining supply house with a global export business.
